Pura Vida has partnered with local author, inventor and entrepreneur, Ginny Scales. Ginny brings 20+ years of experience in the auto finance industry and as a landlord. She has developed a rotating format of workshop resources for our residents that includes:
• Understanding how Credit works

• What a Landlord is looking for on an application
A huge part of the transition from early recovery and living in a sober living environment is for our residents to consider how and when to take the next steps to complete independence. For many, this may look like maintaining employment and saving money so that they are some what financially secure. For others, this independence can be accomplished with ones ability to secure and maintain a seperate living situation that fosters independence and supports ongoing recovery. Many times, this next step requires a combination of both disciplines.
